Your Next Step

Growing your business is simple.
There are three steps:
- Offer
- Acquire
- Ascend
First and foremost, you need to have an offer that people want to buy. It's not about what YOU want to sell, it's about what THEY want to buy. At this stage the main questions to answer are:
- What problem do they have that I'm going to solve?
- What is the value of that problem to them?
- What is the unique way I solve it?
When you've got the right offer, people buy. Period. It's just a matter of communicating that offer to the right people. If you make the right offer to the right people, you will get sales.
Second, you need to have a system for selling your offer to more people. At this stage there are three methods to use:
- Content - low-cost, requires a lot of your time, takes a long time to get results, compounds over time.
- Outreach - low-cost, requires a lot of your time, gets results quickly, does not compound over time.
- Ads - expensive, doesn't require a lot of your time, gets results quickly, does not compound over time.
Most businesses start with content and/or outreach because it's low-cost. Once they've validated what works, they move into paid advertising, which is expensive but fast.
Third, you need to have a process for getting people to spend more money with you. This means they either continue paying for a subscription or membership, or they buy multiple offers from you, or they buy a more expensive offer from you. At this stage there are three parts:
- Delivery - onboard them and give them what you promised.
- Milestones - get them to experience small wins.
- Bridge - make them aware of the next step(s).
Your bridge should make them aware of your next offer (or why they should continue paying for your subscription), and that starts the cycle over again.
