This Privacy Policy explains how Amerikos LLC ("Teaching-Revolution," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the Teaching-Revolution website at teaching-revolution.com and the programs, courses, books, memberships, coaching, community, and related services offered through it (collectively, the "Services"). "You" means any visitor, customer, member, or other user of the Services.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Where required by law, we rely on the lawful bases and consents described below. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.

- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We retain personal information for the periods described in "Data Retention."
- You have rights over your personal information, including access, correction, and deletion, as described in "Your Privacy Rights."

- Approximate location: derived from your IP address for security, localization, and analytics.
Sources. We collect personal information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Services, and from third parties such as our checkout host, payment processors, Google (if you connect Google services), advertising and lead-generation platforms you interact with, and IP-geolocation providers.
How We Use Personal Information
- Create and administer accounts and authenticate users.
- Deliver programs, courses, books, coaching, and community access.
- Process payments, subscriptions, memberships, payment plans, and refunds.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Maintain safety, security, and integrity, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Send transactional and service communications, and, where permitted, marketing and promotional messages about our Services (you may opt out of non-essential messages at any time).
- Analyze and improve the Services and develop new offerings.
Coaching Calls and Recordings
Office Hours, group coaching calls, and other live sessions may be recorded (audio and video), and recordings may be made available to members. Where a session is recorded, by joining you consent to being recorded. Many jurisdictions, including the State of Florida, require the consent of all parties before a communication may be recorded; if you do not consent, do not join the recorded session. Recordings are stored with our hosting and cloud storage providers and are accessible only to authorized members and personnel consistent with this Policy.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies and similar device-storage technologies for two purposes:
- Strictly necessary (always on): technologies required to sign you in, keep your session secure (including CSRF protection), process payments, and operate core features. These cannot be switched off through the consent banner, and disabling them may prevent the Services from functioning.
- Optional analytics and marketing (consent-based): if you consent, we use analytics to understand how the Services are used and to improve them, and we (and our checkout/marketing host, Kajabi) may use cookies to measure and attribute marketing. This may include pages viewed, time spent, referral URLs, campaign (UTM) parameters, a visitor/session identifier, and an irreversible (salted hash) form of your IP address.
Consent. Optional technologies are off by default where required by law; we present a consent banner and honor your choice. Preference signals. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT). Third-party embeds. Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies — for example our website/checkout host (Kajabi), our video and community providers, our payment processors during checkout, and Google for services you connect. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy notices.
How We Share Information
We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients, only as needed to provide the Services:
- Website and checkout host: Kajabi, which hosts our website, courses, checkout, and certain marketing and email functions.
- Payment processors: our payment processors (such as Stripe and PayPal), which collect and process payment information directly under their own agreements.
- Video, meeting, and community providers: providers used to host coaching calls and community features.
- Cloud hosting and storage: our hosting provider and cloud storage providers (for recordings, materials, and media storage and delivery).
- Google services you connect: such as Google Sign-In and Google Calendar, used to provide the corresponding features.
- Operational service providers: IP-geolocation, email delivery, error monitoring, and analytics providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
- Other users: information you choose to make visible (e.g., profile details, community posts, and messages you send).
- Legal and safety: to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests, to enforce our terms, and to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We require service providers to use personal information only to provide services to us and to protect it.
Google API Services — Limited Use
To the extent we access data from Google APIs, our use and transfer of that data will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use such data only to provide or improve user-facing features, we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we limit human access except as required for security, to comply with law, or with your consent.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the period required to satisfy our legal, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, and security obligations. Transaction and payment records are retained as required by financial and tax law; recordings and content are retained for a limited operational period and then deleted or de-identified; analytics data is retained in aggregated or de-identified form. When personal information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, hashed credentials, and session and CSRF protections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and authorities as required by law.
International Data Transfers
We operate in the United States and use service providers located in the United States, the European Union, and elsewhere. As a result, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland to countries without an adequacy decision, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. For more detail, see our Data Protection page.
